I believe he's talking about the Doom Eternal ones. If so, it will only depend on the good will of the spriter.

After a long time, i managed to use some tools around the internet and extract the sprites within Dino Crisis 1. There are more things, but many key items are still beyond my reach.

Not even close to be a coincidence, Dino Crisis was built on the foundations of the classic Resident Evil games, and was made by Shinji Mikami himself. RE's heart and soul was present on the first DC in a way that makes it feel almost like an extension of the zombies franchise. I used to dream with a crossover of both games when i was a kid (i guess Regina's outfit in RE 3 won't cut as a crossover).

Anyway, i'm starting a new glock pistol. Here's the rough first try so far:

I did some edits to the various rips of Reaper's gun from the Doom movie
Some gunmetal blue because that's my jam, muzzleflash edits, symmetrical scope sprite and some variations of the reload sprite. For the extra details I used pics of the prop used for the movie and fit them into the sprite. Not quite the best way to go I guess, but it's better than a black shape with almost no detail, aye?

They really look like the rips i made several months ago.

These won't be as simple as just resize and filters. While i believe the sprites are promising, they will also require a lot of hand work in order to look real good.

EDIT - Now i remember, Ninlhil and TheRailgunner worked on a battle rifle that closely resembles the Doom Movie Rifle. Even the reload frames are in similar position. With a little creativity and care, i believe it's possible to improve the movie rifle using those guns as base.
