I tried to make a clean version of the Ultimate Doom Titlepic for projects and stuff by using the cutout by Seidolon from this thread as a base.
The background is still a WIP as it seems like to be cobbled together with the same textures over and over again...

No "spiked D" version (uses Seidolon's cutout as the base) :

Fixed "D" version (just mirrored the "M" and matched the color palette :

First, I whipped this up in a few minutes with Paint.net: If you've seen the Doom Movie, you should see the inspiration.
Next, a WIP Turrican gun for a potential Turrican mod. That's all.

I Really like the art style! But the hand and the pistol might need some harmony.

Decided to take on a big gun this time, as suggested by Captain J, so i made this single frame of the Gauss Rifle. I may rip the reload frames later.

I'm really loving this, man! Looks smooth and metallic. Keep it up!

Thanks to you Captain J , can you tell more on "might need some harmony" ? you mean that they need to be more fitting together ?

I think he meant that the styles of the pistol and the hand are clashing. Either making the gun more like a picture or make the hand look more cartoonish/hand-draw would balance things.

I see, well it looks fine to me, but any idea how i could improve the pistol ?

I think the main problems with the pistol are that the lines are aliased (giving straight lines like the grooves on the rear of the slide a very jagged appearance) and that the gun does not appear to be casting a shadow on the hand.

I hate to steal your spotlight.

Still looks like there's work that needs to be done - there's tons of obvious seems in the clouds, after all.
