Because either centering needs to be the method for that sprite, or the angle needs improving. The angle is quite improved in this image though:

One thing that's an issue for me here is the different style of the grenade-launcher-part and the plasma-gun-part.

Took quite a while, but here's the Doom 3 Imp compiled with proper DECORATE and creds. Replaces the regular Imp automatically.

Hey, they have at least two D3-inspired monsters already, but I see your point.

The one thing I still don't know is if I should submit it to the RoE project and if they will accept it.

I can't tell if this is a compliment on the monster's quality ("everyone will want to use it") or yet another ill-natured dig at a community resource site ("shufflewads-r-us, amirite?"). It would be nice if I could say that past experience didn't make it look a lot like the latter. :?
