Actually drawing sprites is a process that takes learning, practice, and a decent graphics program. It is also a process that is beyond the scope of the Spriting Carnival thread - I might suggest that you scan through the Tutorials forum for it, because there are many kinds of sprites and they take very different approaches.

As for implementing them in Duke Nukem 3D? You might want to ask at the duke4.net forum instead.

Yes, and I edited it with some 80s artwork (artist wasn't mentioned), here's a 320x200 version

Maybe red for Baron, and green for Hell Knight.

Probably the red one. It looks better.

The only problem with making Baron and Knight vastly different is that they will not be hurt by one anothers' projectiles, something typically only seen between identical monsters.

Regardless of how different they look, knights and barons are still going to throw the same projectiles.

well the players rockets are the same as the cyberdemons, but they dont look similar

more progress on the eliminator

Image

EDIT

okay i think my answer is unfair, because the rockets are artificial, and the fireballs are natural

i put this thing together just as a possible idea of how to solve the problem and keep the two monsters different, if i do go with this option i will make sure to make it look better integrated and not like a sock puppet like it does now

Image

the idea is that the baron would be a sort of galactic hunter, like the predator. he is decorated with parts of his victims, such as the mask. his arm cannon would be powered by the still living head of the knight
