I think the car colour should contrast with the Heracross, not match. Maybe some decals?

I would rather not go with decals- there's not really much space for that, plus many of the original Karts (notable Mario and Luigi, of course) had the matching colors on the Karts.

Actually instead of Doom Kart, how about ZDoom Kart? It would have courses based on the most famous Zdoom mods (ex: Pirate doom's first level, Reelism's city map...)

If a Doom Kart mod were to be made, would the seperate Karts be skins or classes? I'd go for the former, because we could include skins for the 4 main IWADs by default, and then maybe an optional skin pack with the personal skins.

Personally, I'd go for classes. The reason being that each character can then have their own performance and handling stats.

Though, at this stage, I take whatever was thrown at me ...

anyway, unrelated but

I'm not sure this has been done before but here's my version:

the idea was to simply represent the quake ammo style but somewhere between the small and big ammos. however i made the green match the doom bullet ammo box so it would fit into doom maps alongside other items much more neatly
as you can probably see it's based off of the megahealth sprite from the quake item pack that can be found on realm667's repository.

but what say you?
