I dream off the day you pixel wizards will draw hell-tech weapons with a 'sided' perspective.

Anyway, awesome red-creepy plasma gun.

I just had an idea of a mugshot.

Yep. That's a heart. And I'm pretty sure that I've seen a similar representation of the player's health in another game. I just don't know where. :D
Anyway, no pain frames, no ouch frames, nothing... except god mode. :D Just a heart that is less frequently beating (and less colorful) as the player loses health.

Those pictures look amazing. I'm seeing and hearing all sorts of cool stuff about the materials system in GZDoom but I can't find anything that tells me how to get going and actually produce some stuff (searches on here and the Wiki haven't turned up anything for me). Can anyone point me somewhere that could be of use.

This thread should help. Keep in mind, however, that the PBR implementation in GZDoom is incomplete and looks bad due to the lack of environment maps.
(Oh, and PBR looks pretty bad if you put it on Doom-like low-res level geometry)

Once upon a time Sgt. Shivers made one of the very very few Nambu pistols ever around, but i found them very out of scale (in my opinion; i've never ever saw one in my life).

So i tried my hands at something when looking at videos on youtube: Left is Shivers, Right is mine, and i've added some powerslave hands to it. Credits to the man, then.

If i am wrong, i can at least call it a baby Nambu.

EDIT: Have this next creation of the night:

A simplistic rifle. Mike12 and Edward Marlus.
