[SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
I'd make it a whole arch-vile body, with just the armor from the revenant, and a chaingun arm.

Thanks, i'll admit it's looking a bit tard at the moment.osjclatchford wrote: seriously though this is nice! just needs more doomifying to make it look less ripped...
I do plan on bashing this and the Aliens version into Blender or 3DSMax and actualy doing it properly.
Here my good people, have some Duke stuff!
Got inspired by those awesome glove sprites HMNuke93 posted in the Hand Templates thread.

Hey, I'm working on Wolfenstein Infinity together with EdwardMarlus. He's in fact the leader of this project and the person responsible for most spritework. If anything, credit him instead of me. Thank you.YukesVonFaust wrote:high quality doggoRingman wrote:I posted this in the wolf3d2x topic, but I decided to share it here as well, since it may not get seen by a lot.

MP40. The original before the Caterpillar.
Probably (not) going to be in the Aracnocide Patch.
Creds: "Mati" for the Wolf Infinity (formerly Mein Kamph) MP40 Sprite.

Some edits of powerslave sprites.
PSX Cobra Staff with PC animations.
Widescreen M60 firing frame.
2 (1) extra frame for the PSX manacle, these were compressed into a single sprite for the consoles.

A few things..
Handless Ripper
Obviously this is just a rough demonstration, but hopefully one of the talented people here can make it fit with the original Doom art and recreate that version of the firing animation. The PC version of Killing Time had a firing animation similar to what I described above.
Lastly, I used that same hand and mixed it with the Duke Nukem destruct hand, and if anyone wants to patch it up, it should work nicely for similar purposes..

Spoiler:Also, that image that Romero shared that had unused pistol animations, I think this is what that hand was for. The gun was going to animate differently, to where instead of it tilting upward and towards you when firing, it would tilt to the left and towards you, resulting in something like this
