i'm surprised nobody's parodied that concept yet and made a spriteset with a pistol so angled that you are literally shooting at yourself when firing it.
Not parodying angled weapons but it is much along the lines that you suggested.

I happen to like the the Doom 64 monsters because they are also a natural extension of the classic doom beastiary. It's almost a shame that there's no Doom 64 Classic style project of some sort

@BlueFireZ88: That's looks really good. Mind if I borrow the colours from it so I can make my own Nightmare Imp?

First i wanted to call it Black Chaingun, but i think
the ChainShotgun is better.
I recolored the chaingun barrels with the same colors of the SuperShotgun.
I can always recolor the silver into something else, just to distinct this gun from
the normal Chaingun.
This gun fires shotgun shells at chaingun-speed.
Don't get it wrong, the ChainShotgun fires with 2 barrels (when the barrels are positioned like in the picture).

@Untrustable. It would be really cool if someone gave both the shotgun and the super shotgun the grey metallic colouration of the chaingun.
