Seems fine to me.. and normally, you would want to grab the top of the gun to support it on your shoulder. The hand not being there on the second frame is fine, as he could be holding the other side of the gun - out of view from the 'camera'.

How's this? I think it's a bit dark, but not as much as the other sprites.

nevermind, that was school computer's problem.
now i see everything when i goes to my conputer.

and just like you said, turn back, second animation is not bad at all. also it's not a shoulder mounted.
but it's bit odd to me because if he grabs like that, right hand will be slip over and left hand will can't handle with it's heavy weight, he'll drop the weapon(not gonna happen if he is brutal doomguy.).
so IMO is, make right finger back off.
not else much to tell more because it's a SF game's weapons.

It looks alright, but it lacks any sort of texture, which makes it feel like it's made out of plastic.

Fixed that arm up a bit to have better proportions and a more movie-style look. Might need a bit more tweaking, but it's a start:

It looks a lot better. Definitely less Hexen and more terminator now.

Which position looks good? (In case of one of those looks good.) Using Blood palette because it looks very bad with the Doom palette.

Maybe a slight angle to it, pretty much in between #1 and #3.

1 for angled weapons, 2 if you want to do centred weapons

That looks awesome Mike. I'm really surprised how you managed to make a hand like that without any existing base to work with. Its simply the best, Although I have to ask, which of these T-series models would it fit most likely?

1 is good for basic angle holding, 2 is good for aiming, 3 is good for centered holding.

#2/#3 Seem to suffer a lot from the "Gun-To-Face" syndrome, because let's be honest here, why would you hold a gun with your hand pressing against your nose.
Which to say is that some more arm/hand extrusion would help.

Sorry, but I couldn't understand a word you just wrote. Can you rephrase that?
