I don't know if i can do a centered version, because BiA's models are angled. But there are some "less angled" animations i can try.

EDIT - now i noticed that the first reloading frame lacks doomguy's hand. I'm going to fix it soon.

Did this thing.

So this is an animation for the classic pistol.
How this is done is, the original pistol actually has like 3 unused recoil frames, which if put to use actually look pretty smooth, these here were edited long ago by Cory Whittle to make his Beretta in Immoral Conduct : Special Edition, and I combined the work he did to make it have a slide, with an edit I *think* OSJClatchford (if that filename was correct) did to give it a proper animated hammer, and then edited the frames for consistency and detail, making a clear separation between the barrel and slide (which, uh, may not look that great if you stop and look closely at them), as well as moving the rear sight on one frame.

Animated in this particular way, 1 tic per frame, with the proper offsets, it looks pretty smooth.
Doesn't look fully authentic as Beretta 92 (the original pistol being a squirtgun Beretta spray painted black, but obviously they altered it substantially), the barrel is crazy fat compared to the very thin slide, and a lot of the edges are weirdly round, also the barrel doesn't recoil and the locking block isn't visible in the slightest, but it's consistent and it's smooth.

Feel free to. The muzzleflash is kind of crooked actually, so maybe you'd want to fix that first.

It looks simply good. But this is just an opinion I have on the muzzle flash, the muzzle flash doesn't mix with this BG color.
