Old Slimer wrote:I wanna make a W40k Catachan Jungle fighters mod, and made a simple knife from a 3d model. But, the big problem is that theres no 3d models available for the Catachan shotgun. Tried to find the models from Dawn of War 2, with no luck, and im pretty crap at art. Any suggestions?
Any sufficiently over-beefy shotgun model or sprite will do - I would worry about gameplay before you worry about the perfect sprites! I'm interested to hear more about what you plan on doing to make it feel like you're playing a Catachan.

Also, I just remembered... there was a very old WH40K FPS, Fire Warrior, that had a fair number of guns. No idea if it's even possible to rip the models anymore, but there you go.

This time it's Skarlet, and she is ready to drown Netherrealm with blood.

Very neat and detailed looking custom player sprite! Making such things are very, VERY complicated and takes too much time. But i'm so glad someone's manage to make this!

Two more for the "From Dusk Till Doom" set:

A reused VP70...

and an old frankensprite made of a Fallout 10mm SMG, an Stg44 and some random ammo box...

...which could use an animated ammo belt if I'm honest.

Next up: Interpretations of the Riveter, Mortar and Crossbow, which will require some more decorate scripting to work as intended.
Together with Ivory Dukes Dusk movement mod, I think this could be fun :D

EDIT: Crossbow draft...

The weapon looks good (I much prefer centred weapons) and the hand placement looks good too.

However, IMO, it has a problem that has been increasingly obvious to me in recent weeks/months: there is a major mis-match in styles between the weapon and the arm. The weapon is a semi-photographic looking model rip whereas the arm is the much more cartoony style of the Doom sprites (even though that was actually based on a photo too I believe).

It would almost be better if the weapon adopted the "floating" style (i.e. just the weapon, no arm) rather than have this mis-match of styles.

a traditional spalding b-ball. angled and centered, for all your slamming and jamming needs.
(use with caution, and avoid chaos dunks.)

Just for something I am working on, planning to have a full set done sometime in the future. (Although I own a commercial license for this sprite, credits go to Clementere)

MY GOODNESS! Did you made this all by yourself? Looks fantastic and anime-esq! Loving the body proportion and overall colors. I hardly can wait for the completion!
