Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Particle update! I made this neat looking pixely torch effect in about 30 minutes. Excited to try some other effects.

burn too fast, but maybe its because of gif.
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Yeah, gimp's GIF creation plugin has very unhelpful FPS presets. In-game it's a little smoother.
It would be really neat to take the lost soul and totally reanimate the flames on it using this technique. This new editing tool I'm using is giving me a lot of fun ideas.

It's called Pixel FX Designer. I only just discovered it, but it can do paletted sprite effects impressively fast.

You should have a look at Cosmigo's Pro Motion NG, also a great piece of software to play around with if you can afford it, specifically the colour cycling stuff... heres an example of what that is: https://blog.prototypr.io/color-cycling ... f20e61b4c4Gifty wrote:It's called Pixel FX Designer. Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Working on a remastered Imp fireball. Can't quite get the colors/shading right, but it's getting close! Would love to do some kind of classic-style particle remaster pack.
