That might look wierd because the angle of the sledgehammer doesn't change.

Also, doomguy's hands don't fit, the contrast is too different from the weapon's

Hey, thanks for those extra frames, Captain J!

I'm already working on the extra frame for wildweasel. It shouldn't take much longer now..

Finally getting around to remaking those BJ sprites I haphazardly slapped together in 2005

His arm in the second last frame just turns all shiny for no explicit reason aside from poor spriting. Also, the rip in his shirt on his right arm tends to wobble around a bit. Regardless, progress has been made.

It'd be nice if someone could touch up the robe.

now that mage's sleeve looks like a classic red pajama now.
maybe you'll need to stretch those sleeves. because his robe always does.

sorry for critism payback B. this sprite going to be more useful when i rotate this sprite for full animations. and just like what CAD said before, him and wildweasel is going to take care of this. also this sprite's model shot is belongs to him too.
Also, doomguy's hands don't fit, the contrast is too different from the weapon's
well, of course! because this model is from serious sam 3: BFG! everything on this game is so bright. but i don't think high contrast weapon sprites are not as useless. we have a simple way to handle this; make this PNG into doom palette, or make it more darker.

The problem with the sleeves is that it looks like there's an elastic holding it tight around the wrist.

Cloth is one of the things that I'll never be able to master. I might mess with it later.

There's no hand gradient for the mage's hands, so I had to make one. He might be a little pale.

His fingers look chopped off. Maybe show their bottoms kind of facing backwards? Also he has a midget little finger.

They aren't chopped off. They're pointing inward (or rather, outward toward the target).

That hand was taken off the Hexen hand sheet just for a color reference.
