Oh I'd a killed to play doom through studyhall in high school. All we had was synched tron or tetris... fun times nonetheless, but DOOM!?!? I'm guessing there's no multiplayer? Mmmm, either way, that would have been gooooood!SargeBaldy wrote:speaking of zdoomgl for the ti-86, my ti-86 zdoom port is nearly complete. here's a preview:

No longer necessary. I found it after using a friend's system. Too bad my computer won't access the source ports page on Doomworld.

It's not at Zdoom.org cus it's not by randy... and randy has nothing to do with it, but IT has everything to do with randy... cus IT's like that you know...
Go here: http://www.doomworld.com/doomgl/
It was looking nice when I last saw it, but i think MD2 support would be quite nice on account of what ZanZan TC achieved... it looked great dispite the bad things people say about Zdoom GL .66. Once MD2 models (or any models for that matter) are supported and we can find a good modeler (as I'm sure there are loads around) we could get doom looking quite nice, or better to the point, I could get ROTGS3 loking quite nice .
Oh, I'd like to thank Timmie in advance for the amaizing things that ZdoomGL is gonna do for ROTGS3...

OK wait! I know I'm like ten posts behind now, and really this is totally off topic anyway, but, now I'm 'hurt' and I'm gonna whine about it! How did I miss the joke? That WAS the joke.Chilvence wrote:I think you missed the joke...
But really, doom for the ti would have rocked! (except for the fact that it wouldn't have....) There are only so many hours one can waste away playing tetris, tron, or ms. pacman, OH and canon fodder--How could I forget that one!?!? Point being, after a while it becomes more exciting to plug random numbers into the quadratics program, or graph functions to paint a picture...
Hmm, or maybe I really did, and still do, miss the joke..... tant pis.
