A whole slew of questions, but you may want to add some background information. :)

Gamerwarrior117 wrote:is it possible to make it?

Ofcourse it is possible. But it requires time, skill and effort.

Gamerwarrior117 wrote:or coding is impossible to learn?

Creating games takes dedication. Many want-to-be-developers drop out because either they come to the conclusion that making games takes effort, the initial enthusiam wanes, or any other reason. Despite game engines being more and more user friendly - Making games still takes quite a bit effort, and then i am not talking about FPS Creator or GameGuru.

Gamerwarrior117 wrote:i thought about it.but, would it cause copyright issues?

If the IP is still copyright protected, then yes.

Gamerwarrior117 wrote:what happen to the last one?

I have no idea. I figure you have to add some context first before anyone can answer that question.

what kind of background?

like degrees of college or?

is there a way to tell if monster bash is copyrighted? its a old game. But, im assuming that is if source code is released.

https://www.moddb.com/mods/monster-bash-3-d

yeah this one was made by someone else. But, i was thinking of trying it if can be done?

so technically this one for wolf 3d. But, i wonder if it can be made for gzdoom? for doom engine since it has more stuff i guess?

i have no problem putting effort into mods.

i have tons of time on my free hands these days unless there 's too it?

i don't have a degree. but, shouldn't be too hard i think?

Copyright takes a long time to expire (think it's 90 years after the author's death, or 75 if it's a work for hire? but don't quote me on that). Even if the source is released, that doesn't mean the game data is public domain.

In truth, that doesn't stop most folks around here. In a lot of cases, the copyright holders just don't notice us enough to sic the lawyer squad on anybody. But I wouldn't assume that this won't happen. The bigger the name you're invoking (like, say, Nintendo), the greater the chance you're going to get slapped with a legal notice.

Mechanically, it could be adapted, but the real question is... do you really have to depend on their notMightyMax notGhosts'nGoblins universe and paint by numbers?

Find who holds the IP rights.

With enough effort obviously it can be made for GZDoom.
