A quick glance at this, these are useful things to try using 3D floor constructs, but I've never thought of some of these.

Thanks for this :D

Wow, I had no idea I could make 3D switches. This is most useful, thanks!

Nice resource. I can recognize my example house for the swinging door there :D

I wanted to ask: How do I enable these lines that join tags with sectors/linedefs? when im creating stuff in 3d floors, it's easy to lose track of where you at with a certain tag with so many dummy sectors, and the default yellow highlight is not enough at some point.

It would also be great to be able to get your view centered into the selected tag/sector. Say you select a sector which has a tag, then I want the doombuilder view to be automatically centered into the dummy sector that belongs to that tag, of the other way around, same with linedefs.

You can enable/disable event lines in three ways:
1. View - Show Event lines
2. click on the event lines icon
3. hotkey I

Hint:
The reference manual explains all GZDB features.
