[Decorate] 3D Everyday Objects + example map

Post by DrDoctor »

As part of another project, I've created a 3d asset set of common objects you'd find in an urban or house setting. As of v1.0, there are 165 objects, some objects even have adjustable properties (mainly light fixtures, check arg0.) These assets were taken from various games, mainly the Silent Hill series and Dead Rising (credits in pk3.) Everything is scaled to Doomguy's height and I've tried to approximate the collision boxes to the larger objects, but really it's best to do that in map. I'm also including an example map that uses all assets. This map is a remake of the first map of the Behead the Undead 2: Project Cryp mod by Large Hard and it has to run with that mod (I choose that because the mod thematically fits with the asset set)

UDMF and GZDoom is recommended, though the set is compatible with Zandronum

screenshot are in DB link since I can't upload them here for some reason

I played your map.

The wall textures are missing ?

There is a blue key to be found and a door that says locked gold. There is no way to open that door and I am stuck. I thought you put the blue keycard by accident but the gold keycard I cheated doesn´t work. What key am I supposed to use?
I had to enable wallclip to proceed.

the models are awesome btw ;-)
