Ah, if that is the case than no worries, I'll use the 2x one. I don't want to put you through that work if the result won't be satisfactory. Do you take requests? I'm interested in seeing/using a quake 2 gunner in the same color/render style.

Those locust sprites are incredible. How did you make them? I'm attempting to do the same exact thing with the main characters from GoW 1.

They were extracted from the UE3 pak files and then imported and animated using a plugin for UE3 models.

The new sentry bot looks great! Awesome work. That'll definitely be in my next update for my Doom3 mod.
You've done some great model rips here.

Cool stuff. I think you like robots a lot?
I wonder when ED-209 will show up :D

Update: Enjay did a 3D model of ED-209 a while ago:

Maybe a good source for some sprites?

Saying I did it probably implies more input from me that is warranted. I found a Quake 3 player model online and converted it. Sure, I did have to tweak the model quite a bit to fix some Z-fighting issues and reworked the skin a lot too but the base model is not mine.

Ah OK, I just googled a bit and found your video.
I googled again and found the model:

I got tons of Q3 models on my drive, but never stumbled upon this one.

The next Rampancy release will feature a lot of new robots that have not been seen in a Doom mod before (the ED-209 will not be a part of it, however).
