[RESOURCES] Ozy's 3d Models Repo: Elder Scrolls 3-4-5 WIP

Here we go, since I had this in mind for some time (and which I will work on and off mostly): an HUGE ready-to-go collection of 3d models which I have managed to rip from several games plus some stuff done from scratch, or just variants of present stuff in the repository.
Since this will require a lot of work, and also because I like it this way, you'll need to download it from Github, so you have a couple of options to build the final .pk3 if you wanna test it (repository is provided with a test map, or maybe different test maps when it will be complete):

1) You can download the master.zip simply pressing here, then unzip it wherever you want on your pc and run build.bat (which I still didn't test atm, it's the same used for BoA)
2) You can clone the project using GitBash or Github Desktop then once done run the forementioned batch file
3) You can even star and fork my project in case you wanna do something different with it and mess with the resources, but please don't forget to credit me for the painful amount of hours spent in optimizing / ripping / rework models

I am not sure how much this thread will be active, but I thought it was nice to share here with the Community so that's why :)

NOTE ABOUT SKYRIM:
  • If someone knows how to extract meshes out of BSLodTriShape it would be really appreciated, since neither NifSkope or Blender can do that afaik
    At the same time if someone is willingly to let me know how to extract animations and merge them as separate solid frames would be wonderful.

Interesting. I dabbled in extracting Skyrim models a few years ago, too. It's working reasonably well in certain 3D Studio Max version with the NifTools plugin (or whatever it was called ;) )
Not sure about Blender, though.

I use Blender only to reduce polys or to adjust embedded skins (if I can't do that via hex editors).
Mainly I work with Misfit3d and sometimes Milkshape, I extract NiTriShapes with NifSkope.
I can extract also Morrowind, Oblivion and Fallout 3 models as well, which will happen at later stage.

Added as well 8 models today, Boethiah and Nocturnal needs to be fixed but will do tomorrow.

Anyone knows why .obj models needs to be rotated of 90° even I center them during model edit? I use Misfit3d and this problem doesn't happen with .md3 models, I guess it's because .mtl aren't recognized by GZDoom?

I wrote the OBJ code for GZDoom with the default settings for the MD3 and OBJ plugins for Blender in mind, so the coordinates are changed a little bit when the OBJ is loaded.

Unfortunately, I can't go back and change it now, since some mods already use OBJ models.

Thank you to clarify that, so I will continue working with .obj as I always do adjusting them.via AngleOffset :)

Fixed a pletoria of models internally and added 7 new Skyrim ones.
Then converted all .png skins (if possible) as .jpg format, turning the whole repository less bigger and also this way they won't haul crappy gpus like the one I have (GeForce GT610 1024mb).
Simply check the github repository for more clues.

Updated the OP with placeholder list of planned work and also included as well Morrowind and Oblivion, since 2 days ago I began to rip stuff from games which use NetImmerse models format (today will test Fallout 3). Added as well a nice preview of the crappy Test map which shows quite all present models in the repository as of today.

Started with Amnesia games, I think I will rework the repository to have models separated as independent buildable .pk3s, so with distinct Test maps, DEnums and so on (Skyrim models for example should be 3000+ total, figures with Morrowind and Oblivion together, with also other games as well - Fallout is anightmare though with 10k models)

I have a strange request:

Do you think you can extract the sky (dome?) mesh from Morrowind? Assuming it even uses a NIF and is not generated programatically at runtime...
