  • Is the resource ENTIRELY my own work?
  • If no to the previous one, do I have permission from the original author?
  • If no to the previous one, did I put a reasonable amount of work into the resource myself, such that the changes are noticeably different from the source that I could take credit for them?
If you answered no to all three, maybe you should consider taking your stuff somewhere other than the Resources forum.

Okay, repurposing this buried old topic. A master resource for my Doom mapping excursions. (It should be useful in the future for others, as well... but I need to finish the documentation first.)

DoomTex Highlights:
  • Numerous metal & "industrial" textures for your techbases, and lots of lights and other bits for hell maps!
  • Keycard, Skullkey, and Quake-style shootable switches. (With sounds!)
  • Sound sequences fitting for hell doors and mechanisms. (Including those gross flesh elevators!)
  • Decals for signs and various wall effects.
  • ACS utility functions for remote doors and other fun stuff.
Also including the cleverly-named DoomTex-Addon! This includes several new things, including new props, fully-functional green keys, hell-themed versions of powerups, and new monsters. (More details on that to come.)
