ZDoom

Hello there. For a certain mod we're working on, we're trying to add a BFG equivalent weapon (as in, big gun to deal with many monsters at once), but so far, we have been unable to find a weapon that "just works".

Any suggestions?

All we need is
a) to be a sided weapon (non-centered), widescreen friendly
b) to not be an obvious model rip, meaning, that looks doom-cartoonish style
c) to be technobabble enough that makes it look like a sci-fi gun, frankensprites are perfectly fine
d) to be big yet not huge
e) one single sprite would do fine. We dont need crazy animations or anything like that
f) prefferably, handless
g) to not be a doom/doom3/doom4/quake 3 BFG

Since QC doesnt have a BFG weapon or anything, that's why we're so open with "whatever works"

Well, the only one that i could remember was this one from WRG2 that Cage ripped some time ago:

It fills almost all requests, except that they look model rips (and its alllllmost off screen, but a edit would do fine). It's the only one i could remember, so all you need to do is talk to Cage.

What about basing something off of Guncaster's "Old Dreadful"?

From this thread. It's a nicely cleaned-up screen rip of Duke Nukem Forever's Enforcer Gun, and it seems like it may be stylistically appropriate.
