For Linuxen who find GIMP too feature-overloaded, try Pinta. It's a deliberate clone of Paint.net for Linux. Having used Paint.net for years, I can confirm Pinta is very much like it and well worth installing.

I've also used Pinta on MacOS X but that one was rather flaky :(

All about dat MS Paint. I use that as a texture sheet/sprite sheet splitting tool, works just fine. Just obviously avoid JPG. Save as PNG or BMP and convert later in SLADE to whatever.

This thread's title is quite misleading: for a second, I thought this was a project to reimagine Doom 64 levels, like DTWiD. :(

Huge respect and thanks for these textures, Cage : I'm currently working on a Doom64 styled project for 3DGE to show off the engines potential and build on the community's showcase of mods :) Thank you very much!

Looks nice! Now I'm wondering how the Wolf3D textures would look like in this style.

I'm making a Doom 64 texture pack resource to go alongside the release of my Doom 64 remake for GZDoom and I've added these textures into the mix. They are very well made, and credit is of course given. Would love to see more Doom 64 style textures!

If you mean the one to replace classic textures, it's still on hold lol. This texture pack I'm making now is meant for working with new maps in Doom 64 style. Although, if Cage can pump out more Doom 64 styled classic Doom textures it would make a replacement pack so much easier! Hint hint Cage! :)
