Well, Hitler and MechaHitler doesn't have any changes, but the fake Hitler is more detailed in all his frames

Right now i'm working in the SNES Hitler (Staatmeister) death frames :P

Somebody already did a SNES-style death for Hitler. One enemy that does still need work is Dr. Schabbs, his blood splatter shifts around between frames. Also, the dogs rotational frames are still a little iffy in places.

Right now i'm giving some touches to some sprites, among them are Dr. Schabbs and the dog

Also, i added the last death frame of Hitler. 8 death frames in total.

One thing I noticed upon closer inspection is that they don't translate too well to the Wolf3d palette, either PC or Mac. The Hitler sheet uses 513 colours, far beyond the 256 colour limit of a palette. For a DOOM mod this probably wouldn't be too much of an issue, but ECWolf is still limited to a 256 colour palette (the original PC Wolf3D one I believe).

In fact, these are intended for a Doom mod that am working on. :lol:

I actually started to fix up the dog a tiny bit, but I haven't had the motivation. Also, good references of running dogs at the right angle and pose, would help, and I've looked but haven't found anything I was particularly happy with.

Here's what I had started on the dog touchup. I was redoing the head and shading on most of it, as well as detailing the feet and cleaning up some blobby parts. I hadn't done much with the back frames just yet.

Finally, after a week of hard work, i've finished my second version of the SNES-style death for Hitler. :)


Staatmeister is in there too..

I only need someone that can help me putting it on the wolf 3d Color palette :?
Anyone who can help me with that? please
