This actually expedites animation processes like mine, where I directly import the hand graphics as individual sprites and then paste them to the weapons using Textures.

I thought that anyone who wanted to use the hand would rather have them as separate files rather than digging through the sheet. Also, what wildweasel said.
Well, since I have the OK, I'm on it! :) I'll do Blood next, since that seems to be second most popular.

Excuse the double post, but the deed is done! 43 hands for Blood now separated. Enjoy! :)

Excuse my constant double posting, but I want to make sure that people know I've added a new .zip (with the new post icon).
Here's the Duke handset! Next up, Powerslave. Should be quick.
EDIT: I sjould note that the knuckle crack animation starts at 1-2, then the second half is 18-19. Sorry for that.

Ah, right, TEXTURES. I use that method as well, but never really found exporting hands from the sheet to be much of a hassle.

Rotated with RotSprite. http://info.sonicretro.org/RotSprite
You know, it's funny... I tried that tool a week ago, but never got it to work because I kept getting this error...

Were you feeding it indexed PNG / BMP format images or 24-bit PNG / BMP?

It's not a big deal, really...

For me, it's actually more fun to do it the hard way by rotating the arms to a specific angle (in GIMP, I had to set the Rotate tool's interpolation to 'none' so they don't come out blurry) and do some cleaning up afterwards. Time consuming, but well worth the effort.

Why Don't they have any "smooth" hands?
It's better for a younger look.

I always wonder why there are no 'smoother' hand sprites. maybe its just me, but i don't really like the duke or doom. I guess we all have to live with it, if i can i'll get those hands ripped.
EDIT: Hey. Forgot that i had already posted that, and the Corvus part....
*facepalm*
