[Graphics] Zero Tolerance and Beyond - Enemies Done!

Postby Naitguolf » Tue Jun 09, 2015 7:42 pm

Hi!

I love Zero Tolerance as much I love Megadrive :) To me, was one of the very first person shooter to play among DooM. And for that reason, its makes a spot on my hearth. I was always wished for someone to do a mod for Zdoom... Well, maybe this can help if someone wants to use those resources. Maybe a full tc... or just the enemies and weapons... or... anyway, please be free to use it. Sprites are done byTechnopop, so be kind to refer to them. And me? If you wish.

Here are the enemies:

Awesome! I wanted to do rips previously, but I couldn't figure out how to get Enemator to spit out native-resolution images or turn off the grid. How'd you do it? Just manual labour?

Yeah, its done manually. Just using Print Screen, then on paint shop pro, just do a resize with 50% with pixel resize. Why? Because Enemator double the pixels on the sprite, but if you put the Enemator window properly, you will also erase the grid dots... and voila... Its time consuming because you need to do it for every sprite, but... ey, for sure I will pay for someone to do a Zero Tolerance TC :_)

You can grab the textures and level layouts through ZTEdit. Some features like the spiral slopes between floors, I'm not sure how you'd do in ZDoom, though... maybe once wall portals are finished...

Oh, my! Such a nice work  !! Never expected someone would make something from zero tolerance at all! Love that game, grew up with that gem. I might use it, if you don't mind, to make something with that, some kind of remake of that game, maps etc. had some kind of idea on my mind about it, for a long time, but don't have any experience with DECORATES whatsoever lol.
