Funny enough, all they had to do to drop the rating to T on GBA was change the blood color to green.

The ESRB was founded in 1994, 1 year after Doom, so the original game most likely had a lesser known rating.

If I recall, the console versions of Mortal Kombat 1 that had their fatalities removed/hidden received a MA-13 rating. I'm guessing the same would happen to Doom.
jdredalert wrote:Loved the goreless zombieman. Will it be a shotgun guy version too? :D
There's a shotgun guy, yes, although I don't feel like finishing him. I'll post it later along with some other stuff. If you want to finish it, be my guest.

They even kept some red blood on the mug face, same with the SNES version of Wolfenstein 3D (Only if you're near death, though, his face is otherwise clean). Guess it's okay for enemies to make you bleed but you causing others to bleed is where the issues come in or possibly because the kills in Doom were too gory since Duke Nukem Advance had red blood and was T rated.

Sorry, I don't. Mainly because I can't concentrate on spriting unless it's something I'm really excited to do.

One thing that might help is to have more "family friendly" injuries on the mug face as he takes damage to more distinguish them, like maybe a black eye or some scuff marks. I could give it a shot if you want.

That's a way better attempt than mine, mind if I work on it and use it for the next release?
(this is the part where I pat my shoulder for saving the Translation file from SLADE)

That's a pretty good idea actually... By all means, feel free to do it. :)

Are you gonna make more goreless deaths for the other enemies?
