Would it be at all possible for you to get rips from Chasm: The Rift?

Unfortunately, I was unable to run it on either Win7, Win95 virtual machine or DOSBox. If you know of a way to launch it on modern system, please tell me.

I've got it working pretty well on DOSBox. Would a config file for DOSBox help?

Could I make a rip request?

Weapons from timesplitters future perfect

You'd need to get a GameCube emulator and a rom from your end

That I'll leave to you for obvious reasons

Having attempted that myself once, the best environment for ripping weapons in TS:FP is a MapMaker level set to the VR tileset. You're then free to spawn any weapon you want with the MapMaker tools.

I have the emulator and rom but my game runs at -30 fps even with all the features that cause speedups

Your config helped, but Chasm still runs very slow under DOSBox, like 20-15 fps. Besides weapons there were inspired by Unreal beta and some even look alike. The only original one is a nuke-launcher-thingy, and even that one is plain and boring. IMO not worth the hassle.

TiberiumSoul
I'll see what I can do about that. My PC is capable of handling GC emulation pretty well - Metroid Prime is running at 60fps (around 80-100 without FPS limiter) with hitting as low as 54 in comples scenes.

Thanks for the tip! I'll be sure to try that once I get to it.

I haven't forgotten about my promises of Brink rip either, the raw material is sitting on my HDD for quite some time, and some of the guns are already edited and are ready to use. It's just that I have some other projects for different communities, namely a texture mod for BDL2 and a fanfiction writing. Also sometimes IRL stuff catches up with me when I least expect it.

What about pixelating them and adding Doom guy's (and Caleb's/Duke's/etc) hands on there?

Unfortunately, I have my hands full with a new job I got (lost an old one at December 31 - a nice New Year gift from my asshole employer), so there may not be any updates for several weeks at least. I barely have time to sleep (less than 6 hours a day), let alone do something as time consuming as rips. Learning a lot of new things about databases and paperwork though.

I have Brink rips put on hold, half-baked. I'm probably going to release them when my education time is over and I get to a normal 2/2 schedule.
After that - everything is possible.

Also some time ago I have made a mod for Borderlands 2 you may take interest in, if you play that game

Brother. That's an all around crappy story.
(New York gangster accent) Do you want to uh....have a intimate chat with your boss? Five grand and I'll make him uh...a little less bossy if ya know what I mean.
Sorry to hear that dude. Stay up and come back soon.
