bullet or energy count, durability, heat level and accuracy, i guess. in other games or mods they've showed ammo count on the screen often.

The little lines on there kinda looked like chat-messages to me, idk why.

Making an ammo-counter on there would be cool, although that's REALLY tedious.
It's probably a bit easier on other engines.

It would have to have some use to justify spending money incorporating it into a weapon system ( ahem, assuming we arent in a world where infinite fuel chainsaws and belt fed pistols are normal things to be issued..... on Mars).

Maybe those colored squares are special ammo or target painted indicators. And that text could be locking/free fire, magnification, range indicators. Ref: Javellin missile.

Or.. could be like Grenade MG from Fallout New Vegas. And it IS just random scrolling code.

Think you could do a version of that Lost People shotgun without the eject chamber?

EDIT: Since the dawn of Duke Nukem 3D people have insisted on putting the ejection chamber on the wrong side of the gun, sure it gives the weapon more of visual flare but when you think about it at that angle the spent shell would most likely hit you right in the face. Anyhow, I decided to give in to the madness and I made a thing:

A couple of extra frames for that Lost or Evil People shotgun (can't seem to find any info on this mod). Currently being used in Immoral Conduct 2.

Edited the idle frame of the edited lost people( I thought it was lost evil?) TC shotgun and re duke handed it.

The biggest problem with the original is how the angle of the handlebar is wrong, making it look bent. Not a problem on the rest of the frames, though.
