Had this idea since I looked at the BTSX Statusbar and thought, "hey, this could be a neat status bar". It needs tweaks (Like the bulbs, which Essel says it needs additive lighting), but I decided to release an initial build that supports unmodified Zdoom. I plan on making a future version that supports Samsara and BD as well. For now, enjoy.

Credits to Ptoing and Essel for the graphics base.

EDIT: Now updated to support Samsara and Brutal Doom! New bulb features as well. The SecurityOfficer gets the digital clip graphics just like his statusbar.

It's really nice, but it currently has no indicator for invulnerability. It's not a huge problem since it looks so great, but it struck me as odd.

The design is pretty good. It has a "modern game" vibe to it yet still remains Doom-ish.

I was planning on creating indicators for certain events, so I'll make a Gold Indicator for God mode. (Lights turn Blue to Gold) I'm also considering full recolors, but that's a future feature after I get Samsara and BD Support going.

They could replace the mugshot's role entirely this way.

Health indicator: blue lights get dimmer and dimmer the more hurt you are. (Inversely, they could go overbright when above 100% health).
Damage indicator: the light on the side from which damage is taken flashes red.

Maybe change the light to green or purple or something when holding fire for a while; and to gold when picking up a new weapon.

I'd have to figure out a way to do either of those. I imagine they'd be features after I get samsara/bd support in.

could you make a LOS compatible Ammo counter frame?

Legacy of Strife uses 5 ammotypes so it would be a simplistic edit but i am no graphic artist
instead of showing B, S, R, C it would show B, S, R, T, C
T for the TankShells Ammotype

I can do the sbarinfo edits myself i just need that graphic edit

this is good but i need it to be even with the ammo counter so that i dont have to raise the text offsets in the sbarinfo

Some progress on the Samsara Version. Much work to be done. The bulb glow will be back, it's just gone since the graphics were pulled from the old mockup.

I've discussed the idea on #zdoom esper, but I'm considering making other HUDS like this once the code base is done. Considering making them based off of popular megawad statusbars, such as MM2 and Eternal Doom.
