I've made a teleport pad (I was trying to make a door, oh well). I'll put it up on the first post when the DRD file space is back.

It doesn't tile, it's meant to be recessed into the floor, and as such doesn't need one. I may make a version with a border later but that depends upon whether or not I need one for what I plan on using it in.

That looks like it'd be cool for a teleporter room! You could put it on the walls, floor and ceiling of a room and make it be the exit of a level or some kind of spawn point.

That pulse looks really bad clipped at full red, unless you intend it to look like it's a glob of jello being pushed out of a hole and back in.

I'd suggest adding a fade to a white center for the brightest frames.

As soon as Blox said jello, it was unsee-able. This should look less like something delicious, and more like a teleporter.

I've also started on a pistol.

no, it's an attempt to merge the Doom 64 Pistol with the regular doom one. It's proving to be difficult.

that would be because you're essentially creating a hybrid of two different sized real-world weapons. doom's is a beretta clone and doom64's is a desert eagle. however the doom64 desert eagle is very small compared to the doom beretta sprite...

nice one though...

It still looks like jello, because light scatters around its environment - and isn't contained in a glob like that.
Unless of course this is a laser jello simulator. :p
