I don't have any particular request in mind, I just want to see a bit more variety. :)

Hey!, I'm back with a new HUD for Heretic :D

This one took me quite a while, to edit the image and clean it up so it wouldn't look all ugly, I present you:
THE DIABLO 3 HUD!!!
Spoiler:
A few notes on this matter:
This WON'T work with resolutions lower than 720 x 480, also the gauntlet sprite looks odd in the higher resolutions, since its specifically designed for Heretic's HUD, last this HUD is only in normal mode, no fullscreen.

Finally here it is, the download link. Enjoy!
Edit: Updated link DiabloHUD.zip

I tried it out, but the gauntlets don't display correctly, even though I'm using 1024x768

Looks like there needs to be an extension to either side, or the effective height of the HUD should be 0.

Thanks for testing and giving feedback!
Also, the HUD height is already 0, and maybe I didn't express myself correctly in my last post, This HUD won't display correctly in resolutions lower than 720 x 480, AND the gauntlets will look odd in higher resolutions.
Yeah I know it sucks, but if something is added on the sides... it just won't look right.

I figured it out

It only works in zDoom, in GzDoom it doesn't look right in any resolution (I tried all of them), the gauntlets are always floating. I think they're actually being cut off by the status bar somehow

EDIT - also
Spoiler:
The Diablo health/armor "liquid" is contained in a sort of circular glass vial, yours look great when health/armor is full, but when it's empty, it just looks like a circle. I'd like to see it look like an orb all the time, there should be something you can rip from diablo 2 to make that happen, if you can't draw it yourself.

Could probably be done by overlaying a "shiny" graphic over the vials. If you did it right, you could even use the same one on both.

It looks weird how the second vial is unused. Maybe it could show actual weapons ammo.

The second vial is actually for the armor...
It's just that in neither of those screenshots it's shown.
Also, I suck at image editing, but I'll try to make the empty vials look "shiny". Thanks for the suggestion

I'll try to make something up. (A shiny orb 'overlay', that is)
Spoiler:
LastEdit: Fixed the stuff, now it should look pretty cool.

You can draw a circular health/armor bar with Sbarinfo? o.o

Woah! Thanks Blox, I'll add those to the HUD :)

Edit:

Added the transparent bars (Thanks again Blox), now it looks like this:

Everything else is the same. Enjoy!

I actually really like how the glass is coloured, looks like it's stained from the liquid.
