My ex did a death of the flamethrower marine from (I think) Weasel's mod Diaz with a green crossbow bolt sticking out of his neck, which he falls on, shoving it through. Pretty nasty. Anyway, that enemy was based on the basic marine. Would you like those? You could probably edit them back to the original marine.

Edit:

By the way, ever seen a bloodless death? I need one for the player suffocating.

Edit edit:

Wow I'm a dumbass.

Weasel does use that skin for his flamethrower enemies, but that original skin was done by RottKing to look like the Quake 3 skin "Phobos," a recolor of the standard Doom(guy).

Sorry if that was unnecessary, it just seemed like you weren't sure of the skin's origins.

To further clarify, I never altered the death frames on the flamethrower dudes, only the walking/firing/pain frames. The difference is negligible. =P

Hmmm... "split in two" may be slightly misleading. His top half separates from his bottom half. I'm sure that the sprites have been posted on these boards before.

You need two things:
1. SLADE3: http://slade.mancubus.net/
2. The Doom Press Release Beta: http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/?id=4

SLADE3 can view all graphics from all Doom versions. :)

can someone please tell me how the hell do i use slade XD

I can't seem to export anything in a format i can use. I want to export the alpha punch frames but don't know how.

if i go to export it tries to export it as a .dat file and the only thing i can 'save' it as is a .wad file. :/

Export serves to extract data from an archive file, not to convert it. To convert graphics, use the convert gfx command. It's in the context menu.

tl;dr: Right-click, convert GFX.

Fack that I'm screenshoting it.

takes longer but its works.

1. rip the alpha weapons.
2. rip the of the carp I went from it.

Yes, but a convert/extract is vastly easier and you'll get more of the graphic intact that way.
