A handful of texture edits
I used these quite recently on something that I was working on and I found them quite useful so I thought I'd share.
I think some of the metal flats were originally by Nick Baker but most of these edits were by me.
Feel free to do whatever you like with them.
edit: forgot a few

Re: A handful of texture edits
Deserves to be shared. Anyone interested in putting them into a wad and sending to the Realm667 resources?
Re: A handful of texture edits
Those look fantastic. I'd probably even add them to my WIP. If you remade a slightly her res version of most textures, that would be awesome.
Can you put those into patch form? I would hate to have to dig those out with mspaint.

Re: A handful of texture edits
I suppose I could stick them in a WAD. I deliberately didn't do it so that people didn't have to use them all if they didn't want to, or could use them as TXs or as TEXTURE1s or flats (where appropriate) or whatever they wanted really.
Re: A handful of texture edits
I'm thinking a wad of them could as well be integrated in a wad of those:

Re: A handful of texture edits
Edited first post to add 3 shawn based computer textures. I didn't do any others because there are already an existing set of shawn/silver like textures with the same basic layout as the metal textures. You can find them in TQ Trust and other places.
Oh, and BTW, I know that the shadowing is inconsistent across the different texture appearances (metal/metal2/shawn/comp) It's not an accident or carelessness. These were done to tie in with existing textures.

These are cool. I must also check out TQTrust - those SHAWN edits are just what I need.

Re: A handful of texture edits
Very cool indeed Needs more color variants
Re: A handful of texture edits
Without checking the original mod, I think these are most of them. I may have done a bit of editing with them in the past. I may have even done some of them myself so they may not all be from TQTrust. I just pulled them from a directory full of "hang on to these because I may use them at some point" graphics that I have.MartinHowe wrote:These are cool. Here is some raw material for anybody wanting to make more like that.
