[Weapons] Seburo M5 Pistol

Post by MidoriMan »

While working on my leather jacket-sleeved hands, I managed to use Milkshape 3D as a model ripping source. What I have here is the result.

Edit - new error-free version available now!

http://files.drdteam.org/index.php/file ... burom5.zip

Original Model - http://www.fpsbanana.com/models/655
Sounds - Fallout 3
Original Decorate Coding - WildWeasel
Texturing, Spriting, Ect. - Me

And now, a preview of another weapon I've been working on -

Oh snap, that's awesome. :)

Could use a better sound, but otherwise it's great. I love how natural it looks/feels, even with Doom-y hands. Kickass, I say!

Overall, this weapon is very nice and the sprite and animations are well done, but the zooming function right now appears to be almost purely aesthetic unless you're playing without the crosshair. I don't know much about decorate right now, but if it'd be possible to force no crosshair while using the weapon, or change the shot spread between aiming modes, it'd make that function a lot more useful.

Whoops!
The decorate code was based on WildWeasel's 'wwhc-diaz' engine, but I already fixed those errors and given credits by now.

Add +ignoreskill to the SeburoClip Ammo item. It prevents a bug where only half the amount of ammo is needed to reload the gun in easiest and hardest, or any difficulty with an ammo multiplier for that matter.

In fact, is this usage of +ignoreskill even noted in the Wiki? That would help out a lot too.

Edit: I went ahead and noted that specific purpose in the Wiki now.
