Does anyone have any experience with Shattered Steel? It's a mecha game by Bioware and it has great cockpit graphics and weaponry.

Also, while they are not FPS games, both Take No Prisoners and Mageslayer do have great textures. The sprites would be useless as they are rendered top down, but the HUD elements should be usable. Anyone have any ideas on how to open these two?

I was just reading about Raven's first games the other day. They came in swingin', didn't they?

I wouldn't say that. Depends on what kind of project is being done with them. ;)

Yeah, they're great quality. Should fit in nicely with an existing mod. :)

Alright, here's a huge resource for you guys:
CyClones Resource

I know Remmirath already released a set of resources from CyClones, but it was not complete. This includes everything: weapons, enemies, textures, blood splats, scenery and so on, all organized into separate folders.

I'd like to offer a service to anyone releasing complete texture packs here.

Drop me a PM with a download link and full info about who ripped it, and I'll clean it up and submit it to Realm667's Texture Stock in your name.

Some times ago I riped sounds from Take No Prisoners. Game sprites has .sfd extension and textures - .tex
Both without headers and .sfd files looks like compressed.

Thanks Diodeus! The sounds were what I was interested in most, followed by the textures and HUD elements.

Here's an interesting resource for you guys, the level editor to Eradicator:
Eradicator Editor

This includes the 2D editor, which allows you to place vertices, lines, polygons and objects. Also included are example levels and a text file with instructions on how to use it. You need the full game for this to be of any use, because everything else, such as placing textures, requires the main executable. The 3D editor is built into the game itself, and probably works like Build's does.

Of interest to me are the instructions which describe how to make a map and outline some of the features present. The game seems to use multiple palettes, one for each major level set. This explains why the palette supplied in XWE only works for a small amount of the textures. Hopefully this sheds a bit of light on the game.

You are welcome. As Mageslayer used the same engine as Take No Prisoners, I also managed to rip sounds from it. They are good as well.

Nice. Seeing them close up, they actually seem to look better than they did when shown in the original game.

And that would be very nice. :)

I've got the obscure motherload here; Queen - The Eye, some shit-assed FPS based loosely on Queen's music. I've been sitting on a yo ho ho'd copy for ages, I'm looking into it's resources. :)

Edit:

I suck as a detective, heh. As near as I can tell, I've found the game's textures, and a 2 KB file called PALETTE. Can someone more inclined check these files out? This is just one texture.

What about Redline by Accolade? Some of the graphics are pretty nice.

And getting those car 3d models in doom would be awesome.
