Sprites, textures, sounds, code, and other resources belong here. Share and share-alike!
Forum rules
Before posting your Resource, please make sure you can answer YES to any of the following questions:
  • Is the resource ENTIRELY my own work?
  • If no to the previous one, do I have permission from the original author?
  • If no to the previous one, did I put a reasonable amount of work into the resource myself, such that the changes are noticeably different from the source that I could take credit for them?
If you answered no to all three, maybe you should consider taking your stuff somewhere other than the Resources forum.

The shotgunguy is quite a bitch, I am still working on the second frame and that's a real pain.
For the red cycloïd, I have a even-better-looking red overlord, but i'm still adding some attack frames.

@DoomGuy47 : eh, I could probably work on a few tech levels. I'll send you a PM with some sprites and ideas soon, just gotta take my time to write something clear ^^

take your time, I'm in no hurry. I've thought of a pretty cool use of those cycloid sprites for a project I am currently working on, but since it requires quite a bit of ACS/DECORATE trickery I won't even be ready to use them for a while anyway. The multiple attacks you have on it will be good, sinec it's meant to be sort of a miniboss.

If you can get rid of that armor make it flesh I can turn it to the guardian. Don't mind the hands and "mech" outline I'll clean that. If possible but meh.

Meh, it just wouldn't look good without armor.

Just a recolor is good enough. A red Cycloid is perfect for the Source Guardian.

The D3 guardian you mean? My bad.

Yeah the D3 Guadian doesn't have armor.

I never understood why Duke Nuke monsters are all missing the back 2 rotations for the pain and attack states. I know the Build Engine uses sprites differently than dooms, so the missing ones can be replaced with some in the movement. But wtf.

I think I have a good idea for what the red Cycloid should do... I'll get to work on it ASAP.

It would've been much easier to split the entire sheet into individual images. Then I only would've had to make the DECORATE.

EDIT: Well, the easy part's done. Now for the DECORATE. Fun.

working on some post-ap The Thing sprites. I need to do an other head for the human Thing (a dog one), and when all rotations will be done, I'll work on a bunch of disgusting mutations frames

edit : cool boss. he is sometimes breathing fire when you're out of range, and flames are burning on water, but I really love the two other attacks.

edit 2 : the fireballs are insane. i'm keeping this somewhere, and If you're not too busy, I'll probably send you some other sprites ^^'
