  • Is the resource ENTIRELY my own work?
  • If no to the previous one, do I have permission from the original author?
  • If no to the previous one, did I put a reasonable amount of work into the resource myself, such that the changes are noticeably different from the source that I could take credit for them?
If you answered no to all three, maybe you should consider taking your stuff somewhere other than the Resources forum.

I LIKE PHI.

Looking at it, the original seems a lot more fork-like: ψ

The green one, from Hexen seems to have 2 different gold symbols. One that looks like a lower-case psi, and another that looks like an upside-down triangle with a line coming out the bottom.

I always thought it was deliberately supposed to be that. The Hexen II spiders had one on their bellies, too.

The H2 instance would be more likely as an easter egg, since it's built on the Quake engine.

OoOooOooooh.... nice. Those looks entirely different from standard Heretic / HeXen designs! Black, brown, dark green, dark purple and dark red are also colorations with hues of their own - a competitor for the potion pack!

I can make pretty much any crazy color. I have the gradient maps set and its matter of seconds to change it.

I give them 24 hours to "mysteriously" appear in HPack.

If I could be bothered, I'd add those as Quartz flask replacements for H++ just to add some variety.

mind if I ask what software you use and/or how you set up a gradient map for that? I'd really like to be able to do something like that with my edits really easily...:3

Photoshop CS4 (I still didnt upgraded to my legal CS5, laziness at its best). About setting gradient maps, I made a tutorial and posted it here somewhere. You may be able to find it. If not I will repost it. But I made a little more elabore thing with these potions. There is one more layer over the gradient map that makes the highlights on the bottles.

Damn nice stuff!

I hate to be a pickybarg, but would you mind making a blue one as well (Crystal Vial-ish colored)? Just for variety's sake... :P
