Yeah, I'm pretty sure those are the Hydralisks and Lurker's attack sounds for the Demon Shredder. :D

Thanks Ghastly... i atleast I posted or stored a small chunk of my work on the net.

And blade, yes everything all the mods (thank god i had a copy of some of my lil porjects like YTP forest...but its like 1 month behind) i got some in here but not as much as i had.

The only thing im pissed is the freaking bruiser, i wanted to finish a row to post buuut nooooo lol

well atleast, i remember the steps that is need to make a sprite.

*Smack myself*, there's a Hydralisk sound for the Demon Shredder?! :shock:
You forgot the Guardian sound for the powered up Crab weapon, by the way. :D

@Prnzdoom: I like the second one. Also, why does the robber have a brown mask, when it should have a black (I'm comparing it to the bottom picture)...if that is supposed to be a closeup on the robber's face?

so you really like the second zsec shotgun head? i thought the 3rd row would be the winner. grey scaling is all right but to bland. think it should be in between gray and color (saturation is like 0% is grey and 50% is color. It should be in like 10-20% ish.

ill recolor the other rotations for you.

Send me anything that i might have done, (that's not in this forum..ill search and get the ones that are)

and if you need any blood stains for your sprites, im open for service.


Work is easing down and its near Thanksgiving and Xmas break is poping up really soon. so yea im better, work hard..now to ...play hard XD

The Hellion is definately a better base for the Doom 3 Vile than the original, just recolour a very pasty khaki, alter the face and feet slightly and done

Indeed. Your recoloring resembles the D3 archvile a lot, but i'd make it less green and a bit more yellow.

@Toenail: Looks great, but should probably be yellowish/skin-colored (with red hands, of course :P). Will you be making the rest of the sprite set? I could, also, really use a generic standing frame for it, since the archvile doesn't have any good standing sprites.

@ZDude: I might try to put the whole pack on the Beastiary as a multi-monster pack (that's easy to extract single monsters from), since otherwise people would have to scan through the entire Beastiary to find them all, and there's a chance some of them might get rejected.

morph both heads of viles may do the trick.

2 Ghastly: hows the SG heads?, hey why is your name blue 0.0 , and need any blood on your guy :P?

As monsters were worked by different authors, once the set is complete I think it'd be opportune to do an overall quality revision to make sure everything matches together.
The Hellion looks very good for the Archvile, it only needs to be slightly bigger, nothing that SCALE can't do.

I'd like to ask a sprite set of the shotgun Z-sec without blood decals. I think it'd be good for a NPC marine.
Some friendly characters (robots, civilians, marines) could be cool. Not as coop bots, but characters that you find in the middle of the game and help you fighting a couple of monsters, or showing you secrets passages or what not. DOOM 2.5 had some and they worked well on the DOOM³ scenarios.
