Jumping fans in Shadow Warrior?

I got a question about the Shadow Warrior mod "When I Was Young" (can be found here: http://swcentral.weebly.com/maps--codes.html) There's two places in this mod where I have to activate a fan in the floor to supposedly jump higher. But this doesn't seem to work at all. In both Raze and GDX there's no difference in jump height and the source also doesn't seem to have any such handling in its jumping code. So does anyone by chance know what's up here?

You mean these fans?


You need to press the "use" key to activate it. Remember that the spacebar was the "use" key in the DOS default config. Works in both Raze and VoidSW, I assume GDX as well.

Thanks for that bit of info. It never occurred to me to try that...
