Duke Caribbean - Lifes a Beach USA not showing up

Postby Phyllis Gungernork » Tue Apr 13, 2021 12:41 am

When loading up Raze I included the files for Lifes a Beach and those aren't showing up. I tried both the DOS version and the .cue/.bin versions of this file

File detection is done via file size and CRC. If this file is not detected it means it's an unknown variant. I'll need these two values to add detection for it.

I just added detection for 3 more variants of this, so it'S hopefully resolved.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but neither Duke Carribean nor Duke It Out In D.C. are appearing in my Raze menu (v1.1.2) even though I have legit .GRP files from the install CDs in the Raze folder. All the other Build enging games appear OK (Blood, Nuclear Winter, Shadow Warrior, Redneck Rampage etc.)

I'm guessing this is another case of differing versions of Vacation.GRP and DukeDC.GRP files not being detected for the reason Graf stated above.

I've attached the file size and checksum details for both files. Hope they are of some use.

Much thanks.

Could you add the CRC-32 checksum for them too? That's actually the value used to validate files.
