[0.4.2] Pause command appears to be non-functional

I searched the forum to see if it was mentioned already but couldn't find anything. Again happens independently of game.

Try to assign the pause function to any key and the game will print:

Code: Select all

Unknown command "pause"
to the console when pressed. The game will not be paused but any ambient sounds currently playing will be interrupted.

Tested this a little too, and indeed, binding a key to "Pause" and using it returns an "Unknown command "pause" " error in console.

However I'm having some difficulty in replicating the ambient sounds pausing when pressing the Pause key. I tried some maps from Blood where ambient noises are easy to hear/hard to miss, such as E2M1, and they don't seem to stop playing.

The pause key is currently hard coded - but the pause function doesn't seem to work. No idea yet why.

Fixed the pause key and removed the binding from the menu. Maybe this will get revisited later but it's of low priority.
