To regurgitate an old thread in which OP had the same issue.

Is this currently possible? If so, how?

If it is not possible, is it a feasible feature to suggest?

Randi says AmbientSound thing can do it, but there's nothing on the wiki to indicate this. There is nothing on the wiki about panning.

I have emulated this in ACS successfully but only with linear falloff:

Notice how I can spin view without the sound "moving" all over the place?
