Animated rotation of a texture? (solved!)

Post by Tormentor667 »

I don't know, maybe I have missed something but is there already a good, fluent and clever way to animate the rotation of a wall texture?

Aside from shaders, no.
If shaders are an option some more info is needed. What precisely do you want to do here?

I feared that.

Well, actually I am working on a dig-site, where a large mechanical drill works itself through stone. This is what it looks in the edtor:

The texture's size is 256x256 and it should simply rotate infinitely, let's say 10 seconds per full rotation.

I didn't want to spoil anything from C2M6 but this works so damn good, I can't resist. Thanks MaxED for creating the effect :)
