ah that's better. But you can't speed the block up. You need a 'down' key :(

Bet you can't do this in ACS :) Well actually, I suppose theoretically you could, but at 32 source files and 12,000 or so lines of C (and that's for version 3.6, nevermind the enhanced versions) that'd be a pig of an ACS script to write.

You mean, Nethack? That would be an interesting TC - Rogue using the Doom engine. Forget using hud-messages, just make it a Doom game.

...actually, wait, there's HQuest for that.

I didn't really like tetris too much, but its still really good scripting. Now we just need to do pacman- wait, someone already did that :P

Kinda makes some of the stuff in the fake screenshot thread look prophetic doesn't it. :)

With real mines! :D

EDIT: That actually sounds feasible.. Just figure out a way of calculationg how close you are to a modified monster that blows up when you get too close, then make a new weapon that resembles a minesweeper or metal detector and have it show a bar which gets larger as you get closer to a mine.

There was one included with Eternal Doom 3 called "Cybesweeper" where the "mines" are replaced with cyberdemons. Heh, that was fun. :P
