...or with fonts generated with Bagheadspidey's font generator
I've been struggling for quite some time to replace the Doom fonts. Using the font generator pretty much resulted in either oversized, unreadable, or jagged text. (Bigfont and console) And i don't have much clue on how to use BMF fonts. i downloaded one from the BMF font archive website, named 12sim.bmf, but attempting to replace the smallfont with the downloaded one results in no text appearing at all.
also, does the replacement fonts (for bigfont, console and smallfont) have to be in the exact same size as the ones i intend to replace? if so, what are original sizes?
How do i replace the original doom fonts with BMF ones...

That would be a pain in the ass, you would have to probably scale it depending on the screen size used by a user. I have never done this before, so I'm totally guessing.
