Huh, Great minds think alike.

I also edited the CapJ M1911, added a more noticeable "beaver tail" myself, and stuffed around adding part of the Freedoom M1911 onto the barrel.

Awesome! I like what you did. The slide is thinner and seems longer. I'll probably make a mix between our two.

The hammer is from the freedoom pistol and i recolored it, along with small sprite fixes.

I'm actually in the process of turning this into a full on decorate weapon. I'll PM you a prototype once I get some code up.
Nice! :D

I remember the HD doom sprite project, opened by thief666. And then it went downhill and it seems no one is going to complete such project. Unfortunate...

But hey, that's pretty nice, though.

Yeah I have no intention of doing an HD sprite project. I am just doing these for some statues. I posted about it in the custom texture thread but then I remembered that one uses *sprites* to make *things*.
It does look a lot like the ones in that project, but I did do the Revenant, and an Imp my self

The one on the right has more character, but I'd use them both. The one on the left as a normal statue; the one on the right as a broken statue. I'd enhance the age cracks, remove the right horn and part of the head, a chunk off the right foot and part of the left shoulder. It works in an older, run-down section of a castle or a base. Or placed as a hint to a secret.

Wow! Those are some detailed and helpful suggestions! Thanks man. I may just do that after I finish the Mancubus statue.

A preview of an Imperial Japanese Army submachine gunner with the Type 100. He's basically a recolor of my earlier NVA subgunner with some editing to the uniform and weapon.

I feel like it needs something more done with the face and skin tone. It looks like a PixelGerman in the wrong uniform (a really nice uniform though).
