Doing some more experimenting. I think the tear is animated a bit too fast, and probably needs some polishing.. But I'll see what I can do. You're welcome to give it a try though, Uboa.

Why the tear?

Also, zrrion. You do know that my flames are just slightly touched up frames from the Quietus, right? :D

Just getting a bit creative. I was thinking that, once the bat hits a monster, a tear should occasionally run down from its eye. And besides, if it has an eye, shouldn't it operate like an eye? :P It's just a thought, really.

Well, that's true. Instead of the tear liquid just disappearing, make some frames where it fades out. Like the wood is absorbing it. Also, your thoughts on those eyeball projectiles?

It kinda looks like it's crying milk. :P Flame tears would make more sense, or it could cry blood And yes, I recognized the Quietus flames.

Yeah, I could make something like that. I'm not sure when I'll get to it though. And as for the eyeball projectiles, I like them. They could be very useful in this area. Variety is always good.

I think I'll go with crying blood. That would probably look better anyway.

Remember that Bruiser-Afrit agaures had done some time ago? Although he hasn't been here in quite some time, I went and made the death frames.

That made me think, the bruiser death animation would make a much better death (with some editing) for the normal afrit than the current one.

One down, five more to go.

plus stuff like cast lighting on the metal and whatnot, but that's the last step.

Looking pretty great.

EDIT: Zrrion, remember to add length to the fire when you're swinging the bat.

Finished the "blood-tear" animation. I think it might need to be a bit darker and thicker-looking.

Edit: Those are some really nice flames, zirron! :P
