When using softpoly renderer decals have seam in them when rendered on convex surfaces (the effect looks fine on concave surfaces). Doesn't happen with the original software renderer or OpenGL renderer. You can replicate it easily with Doom or Heretic in the first level. Just shoot rocket or similar into the edge where two linedefs meet.
Tested with:
Games: Heretic and Doom 2
Engine: GZDoom 3.6.0
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit
CPU: Intel i5
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 750ti

Re: [SoftPoly] Weird seam in decals
Don't forget that Softpoly is unfinished and highly experimental. Unless there is someone who can easily understand the code and submit patches, I wouldn't worry too much about it from a modder perspective.
Re: [SoftPoly] Weird seam in decals
Is it okay to report bugs then?

Reporting bugs is fine - all you have to do is keep in mind that it could be a long time before they get addressed.
