I'd say it looks bad, but I'd like to see it in a higher resolution. The head looks surprisingly good though.

Well put. The body is completely out of proportion. It looks okay up front, but from the side it's just fat. Remove the blubber from his back and chest. :)

How did you do it? Piece by piece or with SLABSPRI? And ignore the naysayers... It doesn't look that great, but it could be the start of something very cool.

I'd say it looks a bit like a lego model, but it does have exactly the right proportions and shape.

Hmmm, it's not bad actually...

I wish I knew how to use SLABSPRI. I can't find any tutorials on it at all.

I couldn't only get it to load the provided voxels, and I could only rotate and zoom and stuff. I can't for the life of me figure out how do I make a 3-d object with it...

How I did it...
I tampered with the "A set" and corrected the faulty sizes, height and width.

Have in mind that I have only corrected a2a8 and a3a7 to be the same size as a1.
The others are still in production, so to speak.
But I think that an X^2 or an X^4 resolution overhaul would be good.

Unfortunately, no.

I have read the manual many times, and my attempt to draw something in the program went on for 3 days - until I finally gave up because I can't figure the program out.

The manual just listed keyboard shortcuts. It didn't tell me how to start drawing stuff.

Yeah, he looks like he's been living at McDOOMalds for the last decade.
But that unfinished voxel model is only cut using front, side and back sprites.
I found out the hard way that the a2a8 and a4a6 sprites didn't work so well.
So I have to cut his "beer belly" by hand. I see this only as a test.
His head is the only bodypart that has been 100% finished. (cut and coloured)

I think that original resolution will generate a too blocky result.
Well... I think we know that.
So a 2X or 4X pixel resize with averageing the colours MAY give the resolution I need to make a larger and not so "LEGO looking" zombie.
