GZDoomBuilder-Bugfix, a maintenance fork of GZDB

drag out a control sector somewhere away from the map

then insert the 3d floors in your map

boris explained it pretty well.
Thanks for the help, I managed to solve my problem after reviewing the link post, if it doesn't bother you I have another question, how do "Draw Slopes Mode" and "Slope mode" work?

Nope, I can't seem to get that to happen. I can get as far as what you have done up to 2:20 but when it comes to drawing that horizontal line across the sector I click and drag but nothing appears. Any idea what am I not doing?

Makes sure that you are in Draw Slope Mode (the red icon).

Just be aware that of r3090 top and bottom heights are now reversed/flipped.

It appears instability that went away has returned in latest versions, with no crash log or anything indicating what has gone wrong.

Some of you might remember the proof of concept of visual sloping from early this year. I've finally started to work on implementing it properly. Here's a short video of what I've got so far: https://streamable.com/pmt3w

That looks interesting. Could be very useful.

However, I am still failing to use the traditional slope drawing mode.

I press the Draw slope mode red button.
I get prompted to create a slope data sector (I do so, and it appears).
The yellow square with a black centre appears at the mouse cursor but no matter what I seem to do from that point, nothing really seems to happen: I left click, I right click, I hold nothing, shift, ctrl or alt while doing so, I mash my keyboard, I move my mouse around on to lines, free space, sector floors, vertices - clicking all the way and nothing. My mouse input just seems to get ignored. :(

Any ideas anyone?

My copy of GZDB was updated today (I've tested 32 and 64 bit builds - both behave the same). My mouse is a Logitech G300 with up to date drivers if that's relevant. However, normally my mouse works exactly as I would expect in GZDB.

Check in Preferences -> Controls if the actions "Draw slope vertex" and "Finish Slope Drawing" are set to LButton and RButton, respectively.

Hello all,

I now have a new computer, and I'm trying to bring back my custom Textures Sets (in Game Configurations) from my previous GZDB folder, but I don't find where or in what file the data could be located.

Any help would be really appreciated. :)

It's all stored in GZBuilder.cfg in "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Doom Builder" (just paste that into the address bar in the Explorer).
